The Eucolait board has elected Anne Randles as the new President of the association at the annual General Assembly held in Copenhagen this week. As Director of Corporate Affairs of Ireland’s largest dairy exporter Ornua and longstanding Vice President of Eucolait, Anne brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role.
A respected voice in the European dairy sector, Anne Randles has spent her career advocating for the dairy industry. Her deep knowledge of trade, policy, and EU affairs is underpinned by her experience as former Eucolait Secretary General and as President of the Civil Dialogue Group Milk. Her longstanding involvement with Eucolait positions her uniquely to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
Anne succeeds Frank van Stipdonk of Interfood, who is stepping down after six years of dedicated service as President. The board expressed its heartfelt thanks to Frank for his outstanding contribution and extended warm wishes for his retirement.
Looking ahead, Eucolait is confident in Anne Randles’ leadership to continue advancing the organisation’s mission and supporting its members across Europe.
Anne Randles, Eucolait President, commented: “I am extremely honoured and proud to have been elected by the board of Eucolait as the association’s President. Dairy trade globally is facing some unique challenges and opportunities and I look forward to leading the organisation and supporting Eucolait’s role in promoting the interests of European dairy in what is a rapidly changing geopolitical trade policy environment. I also want to extend my best wishes to my predecessor, Frank Van Stipdonk, on his retirement and thank him for his exemplary service to Eucolait and European dairy trade.”
Jukka Likitalo, Eucolait’s Secretary General, commented: “I have worked closely with Anne for more than a decade. Her expertise, commitment, and vision are exceptional, and I look forward to deepening our collaboration for the benefit of all Eucolait members.”
