EUCOLAIT Privacy Notice
 
The European Association of Dairy Trade (EUCOLAIT) is the representative association of the European exporters, importers and wholesalers of dairy products, with its registered officed in Brussels (Belgium), rue Belliard 199, 1040. EUCOLAIT is the data controller under the applicable Data Protection regulations and is represented, for these purposes, by Jukka Likitalo (privacy@eucolait.eu)

EUCOLAIT is committed to ensuring the privacy and protection of personal information in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. The new European legislation has been incorporated into our internal procedures, the training of our staff and the design of our processes, systems and relevant (internal) documentation.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect your Personal Data when you provide any information to us by sending email messages to the addresses mentioned on this website.

By submitting your Personal Data to us by sending us email messages, you will be treated as having given your consent for the processing of your Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Notice.

For what purposes do we collect your Personal Data?

You can ask us whether we are keeping Personal Data about you at any time and you can also request to access your personal information and to receive a copy of it wthin 30 calendar days after the request is made. Your Personal Data may, upon request, be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format.

You can request us to supplement, update or rectify your Personal Data in our records. You can also request the deletion of such information, or restriction of processing and, where technically feasible, the transmission of your data directly to another controller of your choice (right to data portability).

You have the right to ask us not to process your Personal Data for marketing purposes. We will always inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Autorité de protection des données - APD) to safeguard your rights of Personal Data protection.

How do we protect your Personal Data?

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.

We use a third party service, Lamano S.a.r.l, to help maintain the security and performance of the EUCOLAIT website.

How long is your Personal Data retained?

The information collected from our website users will be retained by us for a maximum duration of 5 years.
